About Naira
I’m a Biology tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Ecology and Conservation. I specialize in working with middle school students, introducing them to the basic concepts of plant and animal life. I believe that learning about nature should be hands-on and fun. That’s why I use nature observations and simple experiments, like seed germination, to bring science to life. I also enjoy sharing engaging stories about biodiversity, helping students see the amazing variety of life on Earth. My goal is to spark an early love for the natural world and encourage scientific curiosity. I focus on making lessons interactive and relatable, so students feel excited to explore more. Watching students grow confident in their understanding is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I encourage questions and foster a gentle, supportive learning environment. Together, we discover how living things interact and thrive. There is so much wonder in the world around us, from tiny seeds to towering trees and busy animals. I’m passionate about helping students uncover those wonders and build a lifelong appreciation for biology.

My teaching approach is gentle and reflective, focusing on the fascinating microscopic world that often goes unnoticed. I cover key areas such as microbiology, bacteria and viruses, disease transmission, and public health biology. By breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear concepts, I help students build a solid understanding of how tiny organisms affect health and the environment.
I work well with students who are naturally curious and eager to explore, including those interested in toxicology and creative problem-solving. I support learners in discovering their own unique ways to grasp difficult topics like immunity and pathogen behavior. By encouraging questions, hands-on activities, and thoughtful reflection, I help students gain confidence and excel in their studies.
Together, we explore new methods to study the unseen world, connecting scientific knowledge with real-life examples and current research. My goal is to make biology relevant and inspiring, so students see the impact of microscopic life in everyday health and global public health challenges. This approach fosters deeper learning and prepares students to contribute to future scientific discoveries.
