About Hina
My name is Hina and I am really excited to be your TESOL & TEFL Certified English tutor to help you reach your goal of improving your English skills.
I am a journalist and editor who has been in the national and international publishing space. Fashion, lifestyle, politics, social commentary and more! I have written for Flare Magazine, Huffington Post and a slew of other outlets.
I specialize in: job interview prep, IELTS practice, Business English, Business English Communications, Conversational English, reading in depth articles with help from me and so much more!

It's all about having fun and educational and stress-free conversations.
Here's a little bit about me: I love movies, music, series. There is something magical about the creative world. I am a very curious person and love to get to know more about the world and people around me. Cultures, perspectives, food and more. I love to travel and find that this is such a great way to continue to explore the world beyond my doorstep through the screen!
My lessons can range from relaxed (think of us having coffee) to structured, depending on the specific need of the student. Everyone learns differently and I appreciate that the needs of each person may be vastly different from the next. That's why during our first introduction session I focus on getting to know you and garner a deeper understanding of your English level and goals that you have in mind.
I specialize in helping my clients who already have a basic English foundation to work on:
Job Interview Preparation
Reading articles from various sources including New York Times, BBC, Engoo and other relatable news outlets from intermediate to proficient levels. This also includes paraphrasing practice and conversational questions to expand on what you have read.
Business Idioms
Business Communication skills including small talk, presentation preparation, self introduction templates, meeting tips etc.
Vocabulary work including sentence creations, drills.
The purpose is to ensure that the English is correct, therefore we will be working on various scenarios that are relatable and fun. Bring your favourite book to class and we can read it together! It can be about anything you like! At each lesson we can go over a chapter and talk about the story, characters and grammar, sentence structure.
Did a particular article online catch your eye but you want help understanding the words? Bring the link and we can go through it together followed by in-depth discussions about the topic!
There are so many ways we can learn!
The majority of my adult professional clients come from various backgrounds and it's fascinating to discover their likes, lives and hobbies. I also want to be sure that our sessions are highly productive, engaging and fun as I appreciate that everyone is doing this apart from their daily busy lives.

Details
I have had the pleasure of having over 5,000 lessons with professionals from around the world. Currently my regular clients are from Saudi Arabia, Korea, China, Japan, Brazil, Turkiye, Vietnam, Canada, UK and USA.
My schedule is very flexible and I have approximately 70 regular clients per month.
My clients already have a basic English level established and my professional lessons are focused on helping build on that foundation with various works in vocabulary, sentence structure, reading, conversational and speaking skills. I also have a few clients eager to expand their writing skills so I help them with focused assignments.
When it comes to training for International English Assessment exams I also do specialized IELTS, TOEIC, ITEP and TOEFL.
