*1st online lesson is charged at £5 for an hour* with no obligation to continue.

Thereafter either 8 hours for £100 (paid in advance) or £15/hour for tutoring up to and including Higher GCSE's.

My name is Zakariya and I offer private tuition in mathematics (up to and including higher GCSE's).

I have tutoring experience with pupils ranging from Primary School up to Higher GCSE's and beyond.

About the lesson

Teaching maths is not just about one's ability to solve problems but the ability to methodically break down complex problems and relay the information in an easy-to-understand way with intuitive explanations that will massively boost the student's understanding of the subject. This is something I believe I do very well, I have excellent interpersonal skills and a great ability to explain things simply.

Often the explanations provided by textbooks is not sufficient and even teachers descriptions can be confusing as there is limited scope to provide students with one-on-one teaching and explain the topics thoroughly. As a result many students are left feeling like they are “just bad at maths”. As a tutor I am confident that I can help restore their confidence and help students achieve their full potential.

I have excellent resources to tutor in mathematics, my father is a brilliant maths teacher and so I have access to online textbooks and homework problems as well as teachers notes and explanations. In regards to the teaching itself I have excellent facilities to make teaching simple, I have a computer as well as a high quality writing tablet which I can use to screen share and so everything I write down will be immediately shown on the students screen.
