I have worked with Althea as a sign language interpreter on many occasions. She has a wonderful grasp of the language, a great reputation throughout the community, and is a patient teacher. I would trust her to teach my daughter and I recommend you use her for all your language needs, passing up the opportunity to learn from her would be a big mistake.

I have known Althea for many, many years (15+). She taught my daughter a variety of subjects, including sign language. She is sweet, encouraging, and very trustworthy. Ms. Maloy was my American Sign Language teacher in high school. I am so grateful she was my teacher because of her understanding of the language and the passion she has for ASL. She is dedicated to helping her students succeed, Ms. Maloy can explain the curriculum in multiple ways, with also keeping the learning fun and exciting. The way she introduces Deaf culture sparks appreciation in her students because she cares so much. Awesome teacher!
