About Harry
Hey there!
I'm Harry, a 21 year old History Undergraduate at Edinburgh University.
At every stage of my education, I've done a pretty decent job. I achieved 9A*s at GCSE, 2A* and an A at A-Level, a First in my Second year of University, and a 3.84 GPA on my academic exchange to the USA. I feel like my results speak for themselves.
I realized pretty early on in school that technique and repetition are the keys to success and over years of crafting essays I've got a load of tricks and advice that I'd love to pass on to others. School can be boring or frustrating and I understand that personally. Trust me. But through my lessons, I like to be honest and work with my students to figure out where they're going wrong and give them full-proof methods to correct their wrongs and smash their exams!

I realised early on in my learning the importance of technique. A significant proportion of the challenge at both GCSE and A-Level is applying the correct methods to the essay or exam.
In my lessons, I explain the techniques needed to achieve results in all essay subjects and work with students to create a perfect formula for essay crafting, helping them achieve the highest grades. Furthermore, having studied an extensive range of classical literature and historical subjects through my University degree, I am able to provide in-depth knowledge of certain texts that will not be covered in the classroom, putting you ahead of the competition!
My lessons are usually an hour but I am flexible to your learning needs and time constraints. I have previously tutored those studying for GCSE and A-Level English but am also confident in tutoring GCSE mathematics.
