About Alyana
Hi there! My name is Alyana and I am a 4th year medical student.
As I am now on hospital placement I hope to use my spare time to tutor GCSE and A level students in mainly; Chemistry, Biology and Psychology- both in content and exam technique.
I obtained all A*s and A's for my GCSEs and AAB for my A levels (psychology, biology and chemistry).
I sat the 11 plus in which I scored 100% (141/141).
I have sat the UKCAT and obtained 2800 on average.
As per my above grades, I am able to teach Biology, chemistry and Psychology up to A level grade. In addition, i can aid in interview practise for entering medical school as well as looking over and developing personal statements for applications to medical school. I would be delighted to help those struggling in these areas that I have so much experience in!
I have tutored children up to the age of 16 at many tutoring centres helping with mainly 11 plus as well as biology, physics, chemistry and psychology. Teaching is something i have delved in for several years now.
I believe as a student who has recently partaken in these exams, i have retained all the tips and tricks that i utilised in order to achieve high grades, which i can now pass onto my students. I have always believed that being taught by a student is the best way to learn to explain challenging concepts from someone who has just gone through the same exams.
