About Elise

I am currently studying chemistry in Nottingham, with the intention to train as a secondary science (chemistry) teacher afterwards. I believe teachers make a huge difference in the enjoyment and engagement of students during lessons; I loved all of my subjects, and a big part of this was because I had such fantastic teachers that were passionate about their subject and passing on their knowledge to their students.

I am able to teach students from KS2 up to A-level for both maths and chemistry. With my experience in several local secondary schools, I aim to work with students of all abilities to help them achieve the best grades possible.

About the lesson

Your first lesson with me will be a free chat to discuss which areas you need to focus on first, and how best you learn. From there, I will put together revision lessons on the topics requested, which will cover the content needed for your exam specification, as well as some extra detail to help you better understand the topics (from personal experience, knowing the why behind the facts really helps you to remember them!).

At the end of each lesson, we will complete some exam questions together to see how you're getting on, and if you need any extra support. My lessons are tailored to you, so however best you learn/would like to study, I will do my best to accommodate.
