About Elizabeth
I am a third year physics student at Oxford University with a passion for helping other students in their STEM studies. I also understand the stress that comes with exams and recognise the value of another voice to help when understanding gets lost through classroom teaching. With success helping students between 7-18 I am confident in my ability to explain ideas in new ways to help refine and consolidate understanding.

As a recent school leaver with 4A*’s at A Level including Maths, Further Maths and Physics, I have recent knowledge of the exam process. With grade 9 in GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science, I am highly capable to help students of all abilities. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE Science and Maths over ages 7-18. I focus on the UK curriculum, tutoring Physics including GCSE and A Level. I am able to help with homework, revision, practice papers and general understanding. Using video call and screen sharing I can engage with students giving them the time and space to further their understanding and explore topics required for exams while also encouraging a passion for the subject.

Elizabeth tutored me through my Maths A level in year 13. Through weekly sessions with Elizabeth, I gained confidence in my maths knowledge and skill. Elizabeth explained tricky concepts to me in new ways, differently to my teachers which helped my understanding. In the approach to exams, Elizabeth’s ability to explain and improve my exam technique boosted my confidence going into my exams and I achieved an A*, having been predicted a B.
