  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Mathematics has always been my favourite subject because I enjoy solving problems and understanding the logic behind them. During my school and college days, I often helped my friends with maths, and that's when I realised I enjoyed explaining concepts just as much as solving them myself.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

The biggest motivation for me is seeing a student go from saying "I can't do maths" to solving questions confidently. That change is what keeps me motivated and makes teaching rewarding.
  • How does your work help society?

Maths teaches logical thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills. I try to help students build confidence, not just score better marks, so they can approach challenges with a positive mindset.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I don't have a single role model. I learn from every good teacher I've met and try to bring the best of their teaching methods into my own classes while developing my own style.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

I enjoy reading about new teaching methods, solving maths puzzles, watching cricket, and spending time with family and friends.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

One of my students was afraid of maths and avoided the subject completely. We started with the basics and focused on understanding instead of memorising. A few months later, the student not only improved in exams but also started solving extra questions on their own. Moments like these remind me why I love teaching.
