About Jessica

I am a recent MSc graduate where I studied Infectious Disease Epidemiology. As I have been educated in both the UK and US, I have come to understand both testing/schooling systems very well and thus, believe I will be able to help you on your education journey.

On my own SATs/ACTs I scored perfect scores in my English/writing sections, with much revision and greater understanding of the grading system. I scored very strongly in my mathematics and science and was able to pursue a BSc at one of the top US colleges. Throughout my BSc I tutored many students, ranging from primary-school aged children to my university peers. I find the greatest joy from tutoring pre-university aged students, as their relief upon understanding subject matter is something I understand very well.

This can be a daunting time, with examinations looming over your head and the beginning of a new schooling chapter. I have been through it firsthand and hope I may act as a guide and support to your pursuits!

About the lesson

More so than a test of your intelligence, standardised American university entrance exams are a test of logic and analytical skills . They differ from British examinations in their assessment of multiple subjects at a more rapid rate.

I am here to personalise my hour long tutoring sessions for pre-university students to help you best prepare for these examinations and education in the US schooling system and identify any remediable weaknesses.

Why pay tons of money to someone whose system of teaching is from outdated exams? I have firsthand taken and aced these exams and can help you do so as well!
