About Jerry
I'm Jerry and I'm an international student from Hong Kong. Currently I'm a first year Bachelor of Biomedicine student in the University of Melbourne. My career goal is to be a researcher in the biomedical field, mainly focusing on cancer research. Besides the high study load in University, I also work as several roles in clubs and societies from University, including the role of logistics officer in Global Health Youth Connect, an organisation affiliated by The University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science to educate teenagers about global health issues.
I think the main reason of becoming a private tutor is that I want to share my experience in school to those in need and this is something I find really rewarding. Seeing students grow and develop is my job and is the most important aspect for my students. It is something more important than marks as these experiences can aid them to face challenges in a positive manner and overcome it.
