About Bonnie

Hi! I’m a Vietnamese Korean teacher who fell in love with the language and taught myself for two years before earning a TOPIK level 6 certificate. With years of teaching experience and active involvement in Korean-speaking communities, I bring a structured yet flexible approach to language learning. I specialize in basic Korean, conversational skills, and TOPIK I preparation. As someone who started from scratch and walked the same path as many of my students, I deeply understand the challenges learners face. This allows me to offer study methods that are not only effective but also relatable and realistic. My lessons are personalized, practical, and filled with tips drawn from both my self-study journey and professional teaching experience. I’m here to support you every step of the way, with empathy, clarity, and a genuine passion for helping you succeed.

About the lesson

As a young Vietnamese adult who taught herself how to speak Korean fluently and get TOPIK 6 certificate after two years of self-learning, there’s nothing I want to do more than to share my earned experiences, tips, and knowledge with fellow teenagers who all share the same passion to learn, to truly take a deep dive not just into the Korean language, but into the country and its culture in the process. For the last 3 years, I've helped students from various backgrounds reach their goals - whether it be casual Korean phrases to use while traveling, beginner courses, slang to keep up with their favorite K-drama or preparation for a TOPIK test - I make sure to always keep the learning environment fun, friendly, effective, and professional by creating highly-personalized courses alongside activities to help students minimize time while encouraging them to their best potential. I believe language learning should be both effective and enjoyable, and I’m here to support you with practical tips, proven methods, and a sincere dedication to your progress!
