About Nick
Summer 2012 I picked up my first guitar, 2 months later I out grew my first teacher. From there I went on to be self taught and by summer 2013, I started with an advanced teacher. After that summer I out grew him as well. Later in 2013, I started my very first band a few months later we started playing our very first shows. Began recording our first demo and started touring around Alberta. Opened up for big acts, and slowly the band broke up due to conflicts of interest. From there I went on to college in Kelowna for Audio Engineering and Studio Production. Became a Worship leader and slowly began my first solo career. Since starting my solo career i have been to both ends of the country playing and recording. For now I'm looking to settle in Kelowna for a few years and work on the next albums and save some money.

I will base my classes off of where my students interests are. What genres they are interested in and what they want to do. Starting off with the basics, and getting their fingers used to pressing into the strings. Teaching them how to properly stretch their hands allowing full motion. Slowly moving them into basic music theory and scales. From there they will do some homework on songs they would like to learn. I will help teach them how a capo works and its purpose, then start moving into more chord shapes. Bar Chords and picking. I will teach them how to pick up on a songs melody and visualize what notes are being played and how to figure out how to play the song without looking it up online.
