About Danica

I'm passionate about connecting with all learners, especially those who are neurodivergent or struggle to learn within the classic "teach to the test" classroom. I meet students where they're at, find the gaps, and scaffold them up to confidence in a topic before we move on. I also work with students to understand their math anxiety, where it comes from, and strategies to succeed.

About the lesson

Some kids can tell you exactly where math stopped making sense; others just know they dread it. I taught in a classroom before I taught one-on-one, and I know how overwhelming the school year can be. In our sessions, we're not just answering the problem set that the teacher provided. We're finding the actual gap and working at whatever pace turns "I'm bad at math" into "I've got this."
