About Aamina

Hello, future students! My name is [Your Name], and I’m a trainee science teacher with a passion for both learning and teaching. Science has always fascinated me because it’s the key to understanding the world around us—from the smallest atoms to the vastness of the universe. I’ve chosen to teach because I believe that science isn’t just a subject in school; it’s a way of thinking, questioning, and exploring. I want to help you see how exciting and empowering science can be, no matter where you start. My goal is to make learning engaging and relatable, showing you that science is not just about memorising facts but about unlocking your curiosity and solving real-world problems. I’m here because I want to help you discover your potential, build your confidence, and give you the tools to succeed, not just in exams but in life. Every one of you has the ability to grasp scientific concepts, and I’m excited to guide you on that journey, making sure we have fun along the way!

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring in science focuses on personalised, engaging, and effective learning. I tailor lessons to each student's knowledge and strengths, building a strong foundation of concepts that connect to real-world applications. Lessons emphasise active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, helping students apply science beyond the classroom. I provide continuous feedback, promote confidence, and motivate students by linking science to their interests. The goal is not only to master concepts but also to foster a growth mindset, making science accessible, enjoyable, and transferable to other areas of life.

Aamina taught my son for his GCSE’s and she got him from a 3 to a 7. She is extremely passionate about teaching and has a deep subject knowledge, which she refers to for examples to aid her student's understanding. I’ve tried many tutors and she was the only one who could get my son engaged with the content and interested in school. She was always punctual and prepared for the lessons, ensuring he got the most out of them.
