About Megan

Hi, I'm Megan Lee! 



Mom of three teenagers who are incredible human beings, full of individuality and have helped shape the me I am today.


I fell in love with yoga the moment I set foot on my mat and had an immediate desire for more.

To personally experience more and a want to have others experience this with me.

About 4 years ago, I became a Certified Yoga Instructor so I can lead others from a way that felt good for me, from my heart.



My approach to teaching yoga is gentle yet profound, inviting depth and individual growth.

I specialize in Trauma Conscious, Restorative, Yin, and Gentle Flow Yoga and have a belief that yoga is for every body. 
 

My wish for you is that your mat becomes a trusted friend, a space to release what no longer serves you, and making room for what truly does.
 

Outside of yoga, I'm a a Reiki Level ll Practioner and Certified Life Coach, specializing in Emotional Release by healing the past through our younger self.

Sometimes we can feel held back or stuck in life and not really understand why.

Parts of us can be anchored in past moments and memories in time and are actually frozen there. It's important to understand that the now you is the version of you that you once needed.

You have the capability of supporting younger you, as difficult or as challenging as it may seem.

When we heal these moments in time, release them from our body (our cells hold on and remember the pain of the past, manifesting as pain/discomfort/disease/tension until we consciously release it), we begin to create space for more of what we do want, all while creating lasting change by creating new neural pathways in the brain.



Outside of yoga and life coaching, I work my 9-5 as a surgical dental assistant here in Edmonton.

I have been a Certified/Registered Dental assistant for over 20 years now and I just love what I do!

I love that I get to care and take care of others, especially when they may feel worried or anxious.

It's always so rewarding at the end when they say "that wasn't so bad!"
 

I feel like the combination of my life and professional experiences has led me down a unique path of understanding the mind, body and soul on many different layers and levels.

I am a life long student who is here to make an impact in others from my heart.

In today's fast pace world, it's easy to get caught up in the external noise and distractions that surround us, ultimately leaving us feeling disconnected from our true selves and identity.

When we intentionally begin to repair this connection with self, magic begins to unfold ...

My Unique Approach:

I have designed a  5 step whole-istic process  to achieving your desires through yoga.




*During each 90 minute, in-person session, not only do we engage in physical yoga asanas, but also a transformative five-part journey from feeling stressed to peaceful.




Step 1
: Sharing your Truth.


This is an opportunity to speak openly and honestly about what you really desire in life, how you currently feel, what your inner child really needs and what may be blocking you from having what you want. 



Step 2:
Connecting From Within.

*This is where physical practice begins.


Acknowledging your thoughts, feelings and emotions, noticing where they manifest in your body, all from a place of non-attachment and self acceptance.



Step 3:
Remembering Your Inner Strength and Resilience.


Through empowering asana's, intentionally tapping into the parts of you who are brave and powerful and that have supported you into the version you are today.



Step 4
: Creating Space For More.


When we expand our body's, we expand our minds and we become more flexible in our thinking and in our ways,  allowing you to create space to hold more on and off the mat.



Step 5:
Surrender.


Letting it all go. Reflecting on where you can surrender to the divine plan that is already laid out for you, tapping into your own internal guidance system, asking yourself expansive, reflective questions and listening openly for the answers.
