About Adelaide
I am a Psychology student at Trent University in the Teacher Education Stream, with experience working with children and supporting individuals with different learning needs. I am patient, reliable, and encouraging, and I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
I understand that younger students may need concepts explained in different ways, so I try to make learning clear, engaging, and suited to each child’s individual needs. I am committed to being prepared, professional, and supportive during every lesson.
My goal is to help students strengthen their English and math skills while also building their confidence and independence as learners.

I take a patient, supportive, and encouraging approach to tutoring. I understand that every child learns differently, so I try to explain concepts in different ways and adjust activities based on the student’s needs and confidence level.
A typical lesson would include a short review, guided practice, and activities focused on the skills the student is working on. For English, I can help with reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. For math, I can help with basic operations, number sense, problem solving, and other elementary-level concepts.
I am currently a Psychology student at Trent University in the Teacher Education Stream. My experience working with children and individuals with different learning needs has helped me develop a patient and flexible teaching style.
My lessons are best suited for younger elementary school students who need extra support in English or math, help with homework, or additional practice to build their skills and confidence.
