About Mili

Hi! I'm Mili, a Psychology student at Trent University with a passion for helping others learn and grow. I enjoy creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. My experience as a community radio host has strengthened my communication skills, while volunteering with children has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe learning should be engaging and personalized, and I work with each student at their own pace to help them achieve their goals. About the lesson

As a Psychology student at Trent University, I believe every student learns differently. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each learner's needs. I focus on building confidence while helping students strengthen their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and conversational English skills. A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material and identifying any areas where the student needs extra support. I then introduce new concepts through clear explanations, interactive activities, guided practice, and real-world examples. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. At the end of each session, we review what was learned and set goals for the next lesson. What sets me apart is my friendly, encouraging teaching style and strong communication skills. Through my experience as a community radio host and working with children as a volunteer, I have learned how to explain ideas clearly, listen carefully, and create a welcoming learning environment. My background in psychology also helps me understand that every student has a unique learning style, allowing me to adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs. My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as anyone looking to improve their English for school, everyday communication, or personal confidence.
