I am a History Majored Student wanting to teach and give lessons to students wanting to focus on improving their grades and studying skills. I have experience tutoring students both in and out of the classroom setting ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 8 levels.

I approach the student first needing to observe and ask them about their own personal learning skills, their strengths, and areas they want/need to improve upon. I also like to use skills that help retain new knowledge in your memory like the drill method especially in one on one tutoring to help learn a new subject or as a studying skill.I also like to use visual aids when helping students in mathematics, especially the earlier grade levels, grasp a concept like fractions. Learning should always be a continuous passion and what I want students to takeaway from these lessons is a set of beneficial studying skills to use in their academic career.
