About Kasturi
Teaching is not just my profession—it's something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.
As a primary mathematics educator, I believe every child can succeed in math when concepts are taught in an engaging and supportive way. My lessons are activity-based and inspired by the Jodo Gyan approach, helping students learn through exploration, discussion, and hands-on experiences rather than rote memorization.
I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. By using games, puzzles, TLMs, and real-life examples, I make mathematics both understandable and enjoyable.
Parents can expect well-prepared lessons, patience, regular feedback, and a strong focus on conceptual understanding. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help children develop curiosity, logical thinking, and a lasting love for mathematics.

Hi! I'm Kasturi, a B.Ed.-qualified Mathematics teacher and a Bronze Medalist in Mathematics who loves making math fun and meaningful for young learners.
My classes are filled with hands-on activities, math games, puzzles, storytelling, and Jodo Gyan-based learning experiences. I use TLMs and real-life examples to help children understand concepts instead of just memorizing formulas.
Every lesson is interactive, engaging, and designed to build confidence, curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills. I believe that when children enjoy learning, mathematics becomes their favorite subject!
My classes are ideal for primary school students who want to strengthen their foundations, improve their skills, and discover the joy of mathematics.
