About Vicky evdoxia
My name is Vicky. As a young student, I was always intrigued by how people survived thousands of years ago and how their way of life influenced our present civilization. I spend my summers visiting museums and reading history books. In university, I majored in Political Science and the Classics. I now teach by telling interesting stories that inspire the imagination to understand the ancient world. My lessons include short ancient texts and archaeological discoveries. This is an introductory course in Classical Civilization, including all aspects of daily life in ancient Greece and Rome—the roots of Western culture. The lectures combine archaeology, ancient history, ancient political life, mythology, and literature. The students are also introduced to practical skills, focusing on proper note-taking, citation, and bibliography methods.
