About Eve
My name is Eve and i’m a student at imperial college london studying physics. I took A levels in maths, physics, chemistry and further maths and managed to get 4 A*s, which i would have never thought to be a possibility since i’m not someone who has a natural flare for science-y subjects. I have a genuine passion for helping people struggling in maths etc. because i’ve been in your position! Over the course of my A-levels i had to reevaluate my learning methods to actually fit everything in. This means i’ve got plenty of tricks and tips to share, and wisdom in the subjects themselves which I believe could truly help you to achieve your potential! As well, I learnt to love the struggle and learning process associated with tackling a new or difficult subject, so I hope to inspire that in others as it makes education that but more enjoyable!

As someone who has started from a place of not being great at maths naturally, I understand the struggles of just not getting it. My lessons start with getting comfortable with the techniques you will need to apply to new and unfamiliar problems to build a strong foundation. I will make it a point to take this part at your pace because everyone understands at different rates, and understanding is crucial before attempting to solve a problem. The next stage is THE most important and it’s taking your now solidified knowledge and working through example problems together, and then by yourself. We will cover a wide range of problems to make sure your skill set is well rounded, It’s 100% true that learning a subject is a skill, and the more you practice the better you’ll get- i’m here to aid you and answer question and queries along the way! :)
