Rudyard is loved by his peers and all those younger than him - he is dedicated to growing people, and his passion for helping others become their best is felt by the other person, who responds, by giving their best, and growing as a result. He is highly focused - one might say obsessed! - with researching and designing systems for improvement, and he shares systems that work willingly and enthusiastically with those he supports. As his main tutor I have watched him nurture younger peers with admiration, he gets results from them that I can only dream of!

Rudyard has been an exemplary tutor due to his clear explanations and love of maths that not only improves my ability, but also ignites a passion for the subject as a whole - the results of which are better grades. This is a much more organic way to absorb maths that makes one able to retain knowledge for a long period of time, critical for success at all levels of study. Crucially, he is extremely capable at personalising sessions to what style works best for a particular individual, and does so with a warm and positive attitude that makes the student feel comfortable and capable.

My son has seen significant progress-and found greater enjoyment–in his maths A-level since Rudy began tutoring him. Rudy is thoughtful and explains concepts in a very clear way. He strikes the right balance between exam preparation (practice exercises, exam technique, etc) and exploring the interesting aspects of the maths for its own sake. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an A-level tutor, and I'm sure his GCSE and pre-GCSE classes are of the same exceptional standard.
