About Lia
Hi there!
My name is Lia and I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a 2.1 in English Literature (MA Hons) in 2017. I am about to re-enter study as a law student and would love to pick up some tutoring to support myself while I study. I will be available to tutor English Literature to students of all ages, from primary school level all the way up to A-Level / IB.
I grew up in London and attended a girls day school so as well as my degree, I have significant experience with the 11+ Common Entrance, GCSE and A-Level English Literature material. I have also retained much of my school work (for which I consistently received marks of A and A*) which I would be more than happy to draw upon and provide to students as an example.
At GCSE I received A* in both English Literature and Language. At A-Level I received an A* in English Literature.
I have also had significant experience with young people, having au-paired for a summer with three children between the ages of 8 - 13 and volunteered in a school setting in both Thailand and Peru. I am able to travel to all areas of London, as I am based in Ealing, and will be available from 6PM onwards on weekdays and all day on weekends.
