About Fung
I have worked one year as a secondary teacher and 4 years as a private tutor. I aim to do much more than just increase grades. I aim to inspire, increase confidence and show that Maths,Physics and Chinese are things that everyone can do.

Well, in a few words: efficient and relaxed
I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I will encourage my clients so my students can make speedy progress straight away. I will teach according to the exam syllabus so that the students can grab hold of what they need to learn, and prevent them for wasting time on those content which will not featured in exam.
As I have had lots of experience teaching in schools and private tutoring, this is has given me unique insight into how teachers and lecturers think, (I used to be one) and what they would like to see from their students who are engaged in private teaching. I will be asking to see if they have noticed an improvement.
Short term gain is not the only thing on the menu, either. I aim to help students over the long term by also discussing revision strategies and memory aids to ensure that topics covered in sessions will remain fresh and exam ready. I love two way communication with students as well. my class will not be bored. they can feel free to do anything during the class. Not necessarily just sitting in one place.
My lesson is usually 2-3 hours. and my lesson is open to students who is sitting for SPM, Cambridge "O" and "A" Level as well as those who want to learn Chinese from the beginning.
