Growing up, I often found that maths and physics were taught as things to memorise rather than understand. It wasn't until I found teachers who explained the 'why' behind the content that things really clicked, and that spark is what led me to pursue academia myself. It's this same spark I aim to help my students find: not just getting through exams, but genuinely understanding the subject and building the confidence to shape their own future, step by step.
I'm passionate about mathematics and the natural patterns and harmonies that shape the world around us, as well as engineering, space research and space travel — interests I'll be pursuing further at university and have worked on at work experience programmes for companies such as BAE Systems and Leonardo.
Outside of academics, I play guitar and piano, and enjoy producing music in my spare time, which keeps me creative and gives me a well-rounded perspective I bring into my tutoring.

My approach is to guide rather than instruct. I want students to find things out for themselves and build their own framework for learning, with me there to support and steer that process rather than just hand over answers. I focus on breaking problems down step-by-step, helping students build the tools to work through questions independently. Lessons typically run 1 hour, tailored to the student's pace and exam board.
I have previously been a volunteer teaching assistant for mathematics at my old secondary school.
I tutor students from 11+ (including entrance exam prep) through to GCSE and A Level, covering Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
I am always willing to help with super curricular support and help my students make competitive university / degree apprenticeship applications.
