About Tracy

I am a UBC student who has been playing the piano since the age of 5. Achieved the RCM First Class Honors with Distinction certificate for all Theory examinations (from Basic to Advanced rudiments). Achieved RCM First Class Honors for piano examinations (up to level 8).

About the lesson

I specialize in teaching children as young as 3 years old! I also teach beginner teens & adults.

For children, I use stories and fun activities throughout our lessons so that they stay engaged. Learning to love piano, instead of simply playing piano, is so important in becoming a great pianist!

I adapt to the level of the student and am patient with the student's learning. I also implement theory into the piano lessons as theory is an important factor in learning techniques behind piano playing.

Group lessons can be arranged as well!

Amazing teacher! Very organized, planned out classes — creates new and personalized class plans for each session based on my son's needs. Just shows how experienced she is, being able to teach young students his age.
He often has trouble focusing on things, but she always adapts to get him back into learning!
