About Shreyan
I am an international student from India at the UBC. I have been giving private tuitions all throughout high school and I have experience teaching high school level maths and I am well-versed with the curriculum. I have also been awarded with the Outstanding International Student award.
I have achieved a sub-100 rank all over India in my engineering entrance exam which has more than one hundred thousand students.
I have also taught a middle school student physics who had gone on to secure a top 10 national rank in the Physics Olympiad.
I have also freshman calculus to engineering, business and life sciences students at the University of Toronto

I believe in teaching math and Science intuitively and elegantly. With the right approach, even the hardest concepts can be grasped. Maths and Science are not to be feared and with the right teacher, they can be made very fun. I also believe in the power of practice and the adage practise makes perfect holds true in every facet of life, not only learning.
My lessons are geared towards students of all types from students who want to take their understanding to the next level to students who need some extra support from a mentor.
A typical lecture by me would include three phases
1) We go over a concept and I will build from the basics so the student can understand and grasp the concept easily. We may use visual, audio and even interactive means to make the concepts stronger
2) We go over some solved examples and how would you apply these concepts in both the examination hall and in real life.
3) the student solves problem sets and we can go over their progress and rectify any doubts or misconceptions.
