About Aman
I am an engineering student at UCLA with over 3 years of tutoring experience. I have hosted chess camps for beginners for over 2 years and hosted 1 on 1 tutoring sessions with Bhutanese refugees on math and English for 3 years. Additionally, I am a National Merit Finalist, have a 1550 on my SAT, and have gotten 5s in nearly every AP test. As for my general experience, I have a published research paper with Oxford’s Dr. Mushtukov on neutron star physics, researched quantum circuits at UT Dallas, and am currently leading the Recovery System of our school's Rocket Club.

A typical lesson would begin with prior notice of the subject so I can prepare material. If no specific adjustments are asked for, then a class would begin with a 20-30 minute lesson on the material, with questions being encouraged. Then, for the rest of the class, I will give out practice problems, going over incorrect answers step by step to make sure the problem is understood. I believe practice and encouragement are the best ways to improve at a subject. I cover a wide range of subjects ranging from STEM to social sciences.
