About Ronica
I began playing violin when I was 4 years old, and my passion for the instrument has never left me! I am currently a second-year undergraduate student at UCSB who plans to minor in music and loves to teach and inspire future generations of musicians.

A typical lesson plan includes starting with a scale or etude warm-up that matches the student's level, then moving on to pieces hand-selected to improve technical and music theory skills, and finally ending with a piece of the student's choosing. One of the things that motivates and excites students to work harder and continue on their instruments is knowing that they enjoy the music they are playing. Because of this, I take a collaborative approach to learning, where I allow my students, when they are ready, to learn a song of their choosing. Throughout this, I ensure they are still working on repertoire that will enhance their skills.
