About Robi
Robi Varga has a BMus in Saxophone and is an UMTC Elite Educator Robi has played and sung in many professional settings from Chamber and Concert choirs, Jazz and Latin Jazz concerts, blues and jazz clubs, concert halls, weddings, hall parties, and the list goes on! He has also taught at private schools, music academies, in-studio, and online.

Some of Robi’s greatest musical achievements have been teaching students to strive for and achieve their musical and non-musical life goals. And watching their transformation and love for music grow before his eyes!
Other personal musical achievements have been performing with Universal Gospel Choir at the Dali Lama Conference and singing with UGC onstage with the Four Canadian Tenors at the Chan Center in Vancouver, being featured on solo flute with the Sal Ferreras VCC Latin Jazz band at the Chan Center, jamming on blues sax with the Ike Turner band at the Edmonton Blues Festival, touring, performing, and singing across Canada, and collaborating/recording with local artist.

Ultimate Music Theory Club Classes are geared to your approach to music theory. Robi Varga hosts these easy-to-follow classes. These lessons are for students who want an introduction to music theory (prep. 1 or prep. 2) or wish to prepare for a Conservatory grading system (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced Rudiments).
Robi Varga has a Bachelor of Music Degree from King’s University College. He is also a UMT Certified and UMTC Elite Educator for music teachers. He will help build students' music knowledge to give them the musical confidence they seek.
Using a step-by-step systematic approach Robi teaches small group classes of three to six students. He utilizes online flashcards, games, and an interactive digital workbook, to engage students in an online environment in the safety of your own home!
Using the Ultimate Music Theory format and training you will:
• Build your knowledge and master skills in Intervals, Chords, Scales, Key Signatures, Time Signatures, and more!
• Develop sight reading skills to hear what you see and see what you hear.
• Learn to Analyze music to recognize Melody, Harmony, and Rhythm to apply to the music you are currently learning and take your musical understanding to the next level!
As part of the class, My Music Theory Club Class also has several Support Network features for students to take advantage of:
• Students will be assigned homework to be completed during the week,
• Parents and students will be sent a Student Weekly Assignment e-mail as a friendly reminder,
• Robi Varga will have Open Office Hours for Ask Me Anything sessions during the week for My Music Theory Club Class students (TBA) via Zoom to discuss homework,
• Robi can be contacted by e-mail 24/7 for any issues,
• Parents and students can also get news updates, upcoming events, student achievements, and inspirational videos on my Facebook Business Page.
