About Laura
I have taken music lessons from the age of 3. From ages 3-18, I studied Suzuki piano with teachers Carol Schneider and Hannah Krening. At the age of 11, I took up the oboe and have been studying that ever since. I am pursuing a degree in oboe performance at the University of Colorado Boulder. I have been teaching private lessons for the past few years now, and I very much enjoy inspiring those who are passionate about music.

My teaching philosophy is built off of encouragement and constructive feedback. It is easy for us musicians to get discouraged with ourselves, and I try to do everything in my power to prevent that. I am passionate about music more than anything, and I would love to give guidance to people of all ages who share that same passion as I do.
