About Shreya

I aim to help students fulfil their potential and improve their grades, so that be their goal. The most important thing for me is that every student feels confident, safe and comfortable with not only their subject, but their ability to learn and achieve. As a student who began tutoring in 2017 at KUMON Maths and English Tutoring Centre, I have tutored children from ages 3-16. I believe in a supportive and encouraging approach to build confidence and self-belief in each student and hope to provide an enriching and informative environment. I have some experience working with SEN students and strive to help students achieve their maximum potential.

About the lesson

I teach using a combination of varying methods (visual, audio) to appeal and engage each student. The aim of this is to help the student to engage differently with their subject, and see it from new angles. Lessons tend to be 45-50 minutes as this is an optimal lesson length for maximum knowledge maintenance, with 10 minutes for review.

Perfect! Shreya is an amazing tutor. We struck gold when Shreya chose our 3 daughters as students. She is extremely knowledgeable, as well as kind, supportive, understanding, caring, patient and compassionate. She took the time to get to know us as a family and what our needs were for our daughters, who all suffer from anxiety and confidence issues, in their own ways.
