About Archie
Hi, I’m Archie and I’m offering 1-to-1 tutoring to students studying Chemistry or Maths at A-level or GCSE. I studied Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Further Maths at A-level and got 3A*s and an A. I’m currently studying Chemistry at the University of Oxford. The sessions are largely based on developing understanding on topics students struggle with at school and also tackling past paper questions. Lessons based around students deciding topics they are finding hard in school and focusing on understanding them through tackling practice questions together. This approach ensures the students are learning actively as opposed to passively reading their notes. Also, helping to explain tricky concepts that students are struggling with in a coherent way so that they understand the topics more clearly. Lessons are usually 1 hour once or twice a week. Lessons aimed for any student studying GCSEs or A-LEVELs.
