About Sofia
I am a final year physics student at Queen Mary University of London with a huge passion for both the subject, and for sharing education and knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. I believe that education should be accessible to everyone and that patience and kindness create the right environment to help students learn to the best of their abilities. With the right dedication, anybody can learn difficult subjects.
I have achieved a first-class grade in my degree so far, with an average of 81% in my second year. I didn’t come from a background in STEM, and decided to pursue physics at university, so I really understand how difficult maths and physics can seem when you first start.

I am patient and understanding - physics is an extremely difficult subject and the topics can be very abstract. We will go at your pace, starting from basics, and when you have got the basics, we will improve your problem-solving skills and prepare you for different types of questions. Physics and maths skills are developed with practice and repetition, but we will make sure you have got to grips with the concepts first so you have a solid foundation of knowledge.
