About Oscar
I am a 19 year old boy who attended a boarding school for 5 years in Kent on a music scholarship. I am passionate to share my joy for both English and Music in the most positive and friendly ways possible. Often at school, when elected head of my boarding house, my friends would come to me for advice on understanding academic issues better as I seem to understand how it is someone is going to be able to get a grasp of something. I am a firm believer that every child will be able to better understand and deploy the knowledge being asked to consume, but it is the way that they are able to achieve this which needs to be tailored.

Firm believer in an approach that is tailored to each individual student rather than a one size fits all approach. The key part about tutoring is finding a way to get through to the student in a way that wasn't possible in a larger group setting. Lessons typically an hour. I have tutored Maths and English within my local community for a few years and have coached Football out in the states for 2 months. Happy to tutor from as early as any age up to GCSE and A-Level English Literature.
