About Alex
As a student who has utilised tutors in my own personal studies to great effect, I understand the value of a great tutor and aim to provide the same excellent learning environment that was afforded to me. I am a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher. While I recognise that maths is not always the easiest subject—something I can personally attest to—it is incredibly rewarding. I hope to share my passion for the subject with my students as well.

I aim to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment where my students can thrive. I understand all students learn at different rates and succeed when provided a lesson that suits their individual needs. Each lesson typically lasts an hour but I am flexible depending on what is required. I have previously tutored students preparing for their GCSEs and have assisted my fellow university students with their maths work. I am happy to tutor students of any age and ability but I am primarily focused on students sitting their GCSE and A levels in maths as this is what I am experienced with.
