About Bean
I am a current student at the College of Wooster and I am studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with an Education Minor. Communication Sciences and Disorders is a long phrase that just means that I am studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist, which is someone that helps people with their speaking. I have been tutoring for 2 years and I have been working with students for 3 years. I have always loved working with and helping students and I can’t wait to work with you!

I love to encourage independent thought and self-learning through hands-on activities. I like to ask questions instead of giving answers. A typical lesson involves a form of assessment to figure out where the student is at that day with the subject, a small lecture, and multiple activities to facilitate the students’ learning.
