About Ashwika

Hi! I’m currently a student at the University of Toronto, where I’m completing my undergraduate studies. I’m an IB Diploma graduate with a strong academic background and experience in academic writing, research, reading comprehension, and communication.

Throughout high school and university, I’ve developed strong writing and analytical skills through essays, research assignments, presentations, and other academic work. Having completed the IB program, I also understand the demands students face when balancing challenging coursework and meeting specific academic expectations.

As a tutor, I’m patient, approachable, and encouraging. I enjoy breaking difficult concepts into simpler steps and adapting how I explain something depending on how each student learns best. My goal is not only to help students improve their work, but also to help them become more confident and independent in their English skills.

Outside of academics, I’m involved in student organizations, volunteering, and leadership initiatives. I enjoy working with others and creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.

About the lesson

Biology doesn’t have to feel overwhelming! I offer personalized Biology lessons for students up to Grade 10, with a focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand rather than relying on memorization.

I can help with topics including cell biology, genetics, human body systems, ecology, evolution, microorganisms, plant biology, and other foundational biology concepts, as well as homework, assignments, test preparation, and general course review.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s needs and learning style. I use clear explanations, examples, diagrams, and practice questions to help students understand how concepts connect and apply what they’ve learned to new questions.

Whether you’re struggling with a particular unit, preparing for a test, or looking to strengthen your overall understanding of Biology, my goal is to help you improve your skills and become more confident in the subject.
