About Arunabh
Hi there! I'm Arunabh, a first-year at Imperial College London studying Physics (MSci). I love learning about how things around me work, and the tangible explanation physics provides always leaves me with an indescribable sense of satisfaction. From microchips to the solar system, every entity in our universe is rooted deep within the world of physics! In my free time I play cricket for the 1st XI, sing for the National Youth choir, and love to code.
Although my year was affected by the COVID pandemic, my school did not fail to provide us with a healthy dose of internal A-Level exams. However this motivated me like never before, and my revision techniques were the same. I tend to make flashcards for fact-recall, and for understanding concepts I watch YouTube videos and create flowcharts, so when I go back to revise I can easily follow my original train of thought. I found that pictures do speak a million words. and secret to cracking a subject is just practice. Some subjects have more fact recall and learning the facts are imperative - Learning by writing, making and drawing is the best way.

I've tutored young children as well as GCSE students, and more recently, after a month of tutoring my family friend his grades went up from 7s to 9s in all three sciences and maths. I love working to a plan so I will make a unique plan for each student, built to a time-frame, so that the student can be reassured in the fact that they are working towards a goal! I'll be using a stylus and a laptop, writing on a OneNote notebook (that you can access too!) while screen sharing on a zoom/teams call. I'll make sure to include questions and ask you how you're feeling about the subject content. Maybe a test or two every so often but its not about the answer, but more the method! Learning some formulae can be boring and repetitive, but understanding the concepts behind them will make it 10x easier.
