About Kristian
I am a calm, approachable and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students navigate the university application process with confidence. Applying to university can be a challenging and sometimes stressful experience, so my goal is to provide clear guidance, practical advice and structured support to help students present themselves in the strongest possible way.
I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience through Titanium Tutors, supporting students across GCSE, A-Level and university level. I have also helped students with university applications, personal statements and interview preparation, guiding them through the process of identifying their strengths and communicating their academic interests effectively.
Academically, I hold a BA (Hons) in Law & Business Studies from the University of Liverpool and a Graduate Diploma in Law. I also hold professional finance qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, including the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma and Certificate in Paraplanning.
Alongside tutoring, I work in senior leadership roles within FTSE 100 companies. This allows me to provide practical insight into career development, graduate schemes and professional pathways, helping students understand how their university choices can connect to future career opportunities.
My approach is professional but friendly, and I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable discussing their goals and developing strong, well-structured applications.

My Teaching Approach
Applying to university can feel overwhelming, so my approach is to provide clear, structured guidance to help students present themselves in the strongest possible way. I focus on helping students understand what universities are really looking for and how to communicate their strengths effectively.
Lessons are supportive, practical and tailored to each student’s goals. I aim to build confidence while helping students produce strong, well-structured applications that reflect their interests, achievements and academic potential.
What We Work On
Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may include support with:
• Personal statement development and structure
• Identifying strong academic and extracurricular examples
• Editing and refining personal statements
• Preparing for university interviews
• Guidance on Russell Group and competitive university applications
• CV writing and graduate scheme preparation
I focus on helping students develop clear, authentic and well-structured applications that stand out.
Lesson Structure
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when working through personal statements or applications.
A typical lesson may include:
• Reviewing the student’s goals and target universities
• Developing ideas for a personal statement
• Structuring and refining written content
• Feedback and editing to strengthen the application
All lessons are delivered online via Zoom or Google Meet, making them flexible and easy to schedule.
