About Nadia

I am a university student studying history at Cambridge and I am looking to tutor students in my spare time. Having a teacher believe in me really made all the difference in encouraging me to apply to Cambridge and I am excited to provide similar support and encouragement to younger students. I am organised, punctual and patient and I have plenty of experience supporting younger students.

About the lesson

I can do either intensive week-long sessions where we work a subject or subjects every day for 2-3 hours or regular weekly sessions depending on your needs. For GCSE students I can help with homework, past papers, exam technique or going over content. For 11+ students I can structure sessions around your needs by going through practice papers and questions, or explaining concepts and techniques. At A-Level I achieved A* in history and maths, A in chemistry and B in further maths so I am especially qualified to teach these subjects, but I achieved almost straight 9s at GCSE so I am also very able to teach subjects including sciences, English and German. I have experience working with younger and older children and can also tutor students in years 4, 5 and 6 or in years 9, 10 and 11.

Perfect! Nadia is an excellent teacher: punctual, thoughtful, responsible, patient, and well organised. She has helped me greatly in improving my English-speaking skills in preparation for teaching a university history course in my home country, as English is not my first language.
Although this task was quite specific, she has clearly demonstrated that she is well prepared for many other kinds of teaching thanks to her professionalism, expertise and encouraging attitude.
In addition, she has always been flexible with scheduling, as well as with unforeseen last-minute changes. That is why I would highly recommend her as a tutor for a wide range of students and subjects.
