About Jimmy
Education is my passion. In January 2016, at the age of 19, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at a comprehensive school in West London - I absolutely loved it! I worked with SEN students with varying needs, and also ran maths intervention classes to push my GCSE students to get the grades they were striving for.
Since then, I have continuously worked as a tutor (both privately and in schools) while studying for a degree in History at the University of Leeds, graduating with a 2:1 in June 2018.
Boredom is the bane of education... so for me, developing a good relationship with whoever I am tutoring is of paramount importance. Expect challenging and interesting lessons, with a healthy portion of fun mixed in!
Maths and Physics are my specialism as I have tutored these subjects the most, but a degree level knowledge of History means I am more than confident in teaching this too.
