About Genevieve
Hello! I recently graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a minor in English! I've loved reading and writing since childhood. (Especially reading!)
I currently tutor two young students in reading and I absolutely love it! I have also repeatedly helped my friends plan out and revise essays for university; I enjoyed that a surprising amount.
I read so much that I used to get in trouble at school! Not so much now, though! During my free time, I adore reading and describing things like I am in a book.

I can tutor in English from early readers/writers to university-level readers/writers; I range from reading and writing with young students to helping brainstorm and revising university-level essays. My go-to method is to ask questions and guide students to make their own conclusions.
For reading, I always alternate pages! For example, I read a page, the student reads a page, etc.
For writing, I love outlines and always encourage students to use one. I love helping students build outlines!
For editing papers, I am very skilled with APA and MLA formats and love helping out with that! I have a keen eye for detail.
