About Rebecca
I'm a student at the University of Nottingham studying Modern Languages BA Hons. Growing up, I attended a French/English bilingual school which undoubtedly fostered my love for language learning. I would love to share this passion with anybody who is looking to improve their language proficiency.
I studied French and Spanish at A-level, and I am currently studying French and Russian at university. Outside of education I engaged with native speakers and foreign media to improve my proficiency and last summer I had the opportunity to work as an au pair in Spain for a family that spoke Spanish only which was deeply beneficial to my Spanish proficiency.
As your tutor I would not only help you improve key language skills such as grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing but also hope to inspire a passion not only for the language but the culture too. Dependent on your level I will come to lessons with lots of book, film and music recommendations to allow you to really immerse yourself in your target language!

I'd like to plan my teaching methods surrounding the individual's needs and work to build their weaknesses to improve language proficiency.
I'm able to help students studying for GCSE or A-level French/Spanish or those who simply want to improve their language skills! I have a passion for studying modern languages and as part of my degree I am currently studying Russian ab initio. I achieved level 9s in both Spanish and French at GCSE, grade As in both Spanish and French at A-level and I am continuing my French studies at university level currently.
I am willing to teach all ages from complete beginner up to the ability of B2 (CEFR) or A-level in either French or Spanish. Get in contact if you think I'd be able to help you!
