About Josh
Hi! I'm a friendly and enthusiastic graduate of the University of Oxford having studied Maths and Stats! I have extensive experience tutoring people of all ages and abilities and have a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals, including entrance exams, GCSEs and A-levels, and university aptitude tests and interviews. Aside from maths, I have an extensive musical background, and am very interested in their connection. My goal is to help even the most complicated parts of maths feel approachable and accessible. I hope to instil an intuitive understanding of why the maths actually works, and in the long term students always find this easier than memorising methods to solve a problem! I tailor all my sessions, whether that involves targeting weaker topics, or pushing students to learn relevant knowledge beyond the specification. For GCSE and A-level students, I have experience across all of the major examination boards, as well as for STEP and MAT university aptitude tests.
