About Lauren
Any progress is good progress. In these lessons I hope to give students a sense of self-confidence, and I want them to be able to ask me any questions they have regarding the music or their instrument. I hope to instill a sense of professionalism within them as well, as I can help to prepare for solo gigs, concerts etc if needed. I will soon have printer access, so I can always print music for those who aren't necessarily able (I've been there!).

As someone who is still in the process of their undergraduate degree, I have a compassion for students who are coachable, curious and willing to learn. I also, however, understand what it can be like to instruct. This is thanks to my ties into the education program. I ultimately would love to teach music to high schoolers, so I'd love to dip my toes in the water! I specialize in woodwinds (clarinet, sax, flute primarily) and can also aid in voice! It doesn't matter if you're just starting out or if you've been playing for a while and want to pick things back up, there's room for all!
