About Rachel

I am a student at McMaster University, studying for an Hon BA in Sociology. However, I was an official Math & Stats student for 2 years of my undergrad. I have always had a passion for math and love seeing the satisfaction of my students when a tricky subject for them finally 'clicks'. With over 3 years of formal private tutoring experience as well as experience tutoring for York Region DSB, I am so excited to help you achieve your math goals!

About the lesson

**No statistics tutoring available at this time**

Having been a University level Math student, my studying has revolved around the practice of understanding over memorization, and practice, practice, practice! Simply memorizing formulas is simply not enough. I will help you to truly grasp concepts and their applications step by step.

Helping out with Advanced Functions this semester was an absolute pleasure! Mary Ann's son began with a concrete understanding of the fundamentals of Functions and flourished with guidance to pay attention to the nuances of the course. Best of luck in the future!

Working with Elena's daughter on her High School math course was so rewarding. Seeing her confidence and ability in math grow throughout the semester was amazing! I know that she now has the baseline to continue succeeding in her future math courses. I wish her all the best!
