About Darcey
After finishing my A-levels I am now studying a BA Hons English Literature degree at the University of Surrey. The Uni of Surrey placed 12th in the UK in the complete University guide last year. I have experience in both leadership and organisational roles having have coached Rugby to all ages for multiple years, and had been a Secretariat at my school's Model United Nations society. In these positions I had the role and responsibility of not only guiding students of all ages but also teaching them 1:1 on subjects from sport analysis to the analysis of literature, conflict resolutions, essay writing, vocabulary and grammar improvement, confidence in public speaking, but most importantly confidence in themselves. Growing up I was never a perfect student, and because of this I now understand the importance of hard work, but also support. I hope to offer students a space where they can not only receive help for whatever is needed, but also one where they don't have to feel like they have to be a certain version of themselves.
