About Arlo
I am a first year university student, currently studying Law and PPE at the Australian National University. I was a student who initially struggled in high school, but by evaluating what worked for me, I was able to come along leaps and bounds in my final years, and achieve some results that I was really proud of, especially in maths.
I aim to help my students find their own way of efficiently learning and understanding concepts, so that they can hopefully improve even faster, and achieve even better, than I did!

My lessons are aimed at any students studying for HSC mathematics exams, either year 11 or year 12 (and anyone doing these courses accelerated). The lessons are tailored to the student, with a focus on bringing up weak points in their current mathematical knowledge. In my own experience as a student, and as the "tutor" of my friend group, often times the issue is less that the problems are too difficult for you to understand, but more that you need to express them in a way you can get your head around. I aim to find these ways to simplify the concepts, in order to fast-track you to achieving your HSC goals.
My experience as a Taekwondo instructor also informs my method of teaching, as it has taught me that consistent work in making strengths into weaknesses builds the confidence that a person needs to succeed.
Lessons would typically be an hour, although I am willing to be flexible if you feel more or less time is needed.
